Twitter has recently updated its verification system under the ownership of Elon Musk, resulting in the far-right political organisation Britain First receiving a gold tick and its leader, Paul Golding, receiving a blue tick for his account.
The gold tick designates a verified organisation that is a business or non-profit entity, while the blue tick boosts posts in conversations and ranks them higher in user searches.
